Derek Schiller (b. 1986, Janesville, WI) is a Los Angeles-based artist whose work spans nearly twenty years and encompasses a wide range of styles and genres. His work has evolved from pop art portraiture to figurative abstract, reflecting his ongoing exploration of new forms of artistic expression.

Schiller's latest pieces serve as a conduit to subliminally elicit emotions by means of his use of color and movement. His works have the ability to awaken deep-seated sentiments within the viewer's subconscious. He sees art as a vehicle through which we can convey a transient emotion or idea in a distinctive and impactful way, one that can challenge prevailing norms and inspire new ways of thinking.

His solo exhibits include The Project Lodge, Madison, WI (2011); The V Cut Cigar Lounge, Los Angeles, CA (2014); and The Gloss White Gallery, Los Angeles, CA (2021).

Schiller is also committed to giving back to the community through his art. His work has been auctioned off for charity at The Gale Sayers Foundation and The Murray Bros. Caddyshack Tournament, raising funds for important causes and helping to make a positive difference in the world.
